Summer Rides The Bike
Well I pulled out the mountain bike and finally tried to give Summer a ride on it yesterday. If you recall Oliver wasn’t very happy with his bike ride, so I was hoping that the money wouldn’t have been wasted on the bike and seat, and at least one of the kids would enjoy it. At first she cried, and Oliver’s helmet is actually to big for her, but she quieted down and started to enjoy it - might pick her up her own helmet and try again.
Since he saw his sister riding the bike then Oliver wanted to go on a bike ride. Once on the bike and we were moving he started screaming “Stop it! Stop it!”, and then that turned into “We going bye bye”.
The bike is a bit rusty from being out in the weather for the past year, hopefully I can get the chain and gears in better working order and maybe the kids will actually enjoy going for a ride - that is of course if I can actually work up the energy to pedal it for more then 1.4 minutes.
Long Time No Update
Well we have been rather busy lately and I have been thinking how I haven’t updated this page in quite some time. Lots of stressful things going on, some many of you know - so maybe you dont - but such is life. Oliver will be starting school shortly and Summer is growing like a weed. We finally got a moment where both the kids had a clear face - no rashes, no random bruises, etc. So we took advantage of it and finally got some new photos of the kids.
Of course Oliver being two, we only got a few shots as he was running away, but Summer was enjoying being the center of attention. We ended up with 66 different shots in all. Summer got the most with 46 new shots, Oliver had 13, and we got 7 shots with them together.
