You know I cannot count the number of times we heard ‘cherish these moments, they are gone before you know it’ or something along those lines over the years, and each time i just said ‘yeah, yeah, ok, sure’ or something to that effect. But as expected they are right. It is hard to believe that we have been parents for 5 years. It’s hard to believe how much our little boy has grown. Time really has flown by, but I think we have done a good job of enjoying the moments as they come along.
It feels like just yesterday when Kim yelled to me that it was time to get to the hospital that the boy was coming. I can still remember the excitement, and fear that was flooding in at that very moment as if it were just yesterday. Quite a few hours later we had our son who was tiny as could be and couldn’t really do much of anything, and this past Easter he was flying down the road on his new bicycle.
It’s been quite a ride, and I wouldn’t trade it for the world, Happy Birthday little guy.
